  • Understand that it's important to think about the words we use,
  • Identify ways to respond to mean words online, using S-T-O-P.
  • Decide what kinds of statements are OK to say online and which are not.

Activity:

Distribute the activity handout and read the directions aloud. Allow the students to work in pairs or individually and give them five minutes to complete the activity.

Intro to Google Apps: Google Drive

  • Understand the use and importance of Google drive,
  • Login to Google drive using school email address,
  • Explore its environment by creating and sharing a folder, uploading a file to the folder.

Activity:

Students will login to Google Drive and explore its environment. They will do the following:

Add a folder and name it as “Computing”

Upload a file from the computer to the folder in Google Drive

Share the folder to the teacher.
